Make Icons using a Professional Authoring Tool

Make icons for all operating systems: Windows, MacOS, Android, Unix

With IconWorkshop make your own icons for Windows, MacOS and Unix. Create Windows icons up to 768x768 for Windows 10 and Macintosh icons up to 1024x1024 for OSX 10.11 El Capitan. Unix/Linux & Android OS use PNG icons. IconWorkshop creates PNG images with alpha channel in a few clicks including from existing Windows and Mac icons.

The new generation of icons uses variable transparency (alpha channel). This alpha transparency permits creating beautiful icons with smooth borders and shadows. IconWorkshop, which fully support alpha transparency, is the professional tool you need to create such icons.

IconWorkshop was designed with one goal in mind: "Icon Quality". The powerful editor permits creating the various image formats from an original drawing without quality loss.

Work in a fully Integrated Workspace

IconWorkshop™ features a fully integrated workspace. This is how professional applications are made.

Some icon applications available on the market are made of several programs resulting in applications which are difficult to use. In IconWorkshop™, all features are immediately available on screen. This interface lets you work efficiently and be more productive than ever.

All the tools are easily available on screen. The application fully supports mouse drag & drop allowing easy and intuitive operations like creating composite icons from several images.

Since version 6.90 the interface is compatible with hi-dpi retina screens (200% scale or more). The interface is automatically adjusted to match the high pixel density resulting in a visual confort never met before.

Full support for Windows Vista/7/8/10 PNG-compressed icons

IconWorkshop™ loads, creates, edits, saves icons for Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10. These operating systems includes a PNG-compressed icon format. It permits creating icons up to 768x768 with alpha channel with smaller file size.

Axialis IconWorkshop™ fully supports this new format in all features: edition, automatic format creation, batch creation, batch conversion, format normalization... Don't wait and create today your icons for all version of Windows up to 10.

The icon is automatically opened in IconWorkshop and you can work on it as necessary. When you save it in IconWorkshop, the VS IDE automatically refreshes the icon document.

Create attractive icons using Image Objects

The use of image objects to create icons is an exclusive feature of IconWorkshop. It permits creating professional-looking icons in minutes using a few mouse drag & drops.

The principle is quite simple: A large quantity of basic image objects are provided in a library. By associating them together (on top of each other) you create a custom icon:

The images objects, which have been made by professional designers, are provided in 256x256 high-quality PNG format. This permits you to easily create icons containing various sizes up to 256x256 for Windows® XP, Windows Vista™ and Mac OS®. Read the following articles if you want to learn more:

Hi, Axialis Team

I bought Axialis Workshop several years ago, and I was able to create icons for my Vista applications with 256 x 256 RGBA compressed PNG that your software generated automatically.

It has been a while since I last used Axialis, but now I'm currently working on a project on Windows 8 with Visual Studio 2008. I used Axialis to create the icon for my program. But when I view my app in Windows Explorer with the view settings set to "Extra large icons", it only shows the 48 x 48 icon.

I followed your instruction on creating icons for Windows Vista (assuming the procedure would also work for Windows 8). I also turned off compression for the 256 x 256 icon as a number of people had suggested on some forums. I even specified the size (256 x 256) in the call to LoadImage(...) API function and used the return image handle to set the icon for my application during window class registration. But none of those fixed my problem.

I noticed that if I view the icon I made with Axialis, Windows Explorer would gladly display the largest icon (256 x 256). But if I used this icon for my app, it could only display the 48 x 48 version.

Is there something I'm missing here? Could you please help me out?

Thank you. Adam

Superb IconWorkshop!
I've been using IconWorkshop in several projects, and bought my licence in 2008 (Lifetime licence for such a bargin!). It's just the best tool for Icon editing, don't be afraid of the seemingly "out of date" website. It's a great piece of software that just doesn't wear out! :-D

Clean up your Mac computer before it's too late...

I don't need to tell you Mac computers are expensive, because we both know that!

So I also don't need to tell you either that it's in your interest to keep your Mac computer tidy and clean. A trip to the Apple repair store can be costly and stressful. Believe me, I've been there.

So what can you do?

You can detox your Mac using Detox My Mac! Detox My Mac is the #1 Mac cleaning application out there right now and every second is saving users hours of waiting and hassle with their Mac computer.

Download Now >> http://adfoc.us/37141461107244

Not only will Detox My Mac remove unwanted and unnecessary files such as cache files, logs and application leftovers, it will greatly improve your Mac's performance, speed and responsiveness.

It's like a Mac upgrade in seconds!

The best part of Detox My Mac is it does not affect a single application or setting. The only difference you will notice is a faster and cleaner Mac, with a ton of extra disk space.

Scanning over 30 advanced elements in your Mac, I can tell you now you won't find a more comprehensive and safer Mac cleaner out there.

Priced at $37.95 - Personally I think that's a drop in the ocean compared to the extensive cost of a Mac repair or upgrade. What price would you put on your Mac's health and speed?

My advice: Check out their website and see for yourself Detox My Mac in action!
